Accountison Sync Terms of Use
Last updated: October 20, 2026 These Terms govern your use of Accountison Sync, a private accounting integration operated by Accountison LLC (“Accountison,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Accountison Sync, you agree to these Terms.Authorized UseAccountison grants authorized users a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use Accountison Sync for permitted accounting and reconciliation activities.You must have authority to access each connected account and its information. You may not use the integration to access another person’s information without permission, bypass security controls, or perform unlawful activities.Available FeaturesThe current release supports Square and QuickBooks Online sandbox connections, account verification, and connection-status checks.Production payment recording, spreadsheet synchronization, and unattended automation are not currently enabled. Descriptions of planned features do not mean those features are available.Accounting and Payment RecordsThe intended production workflow supports reconciliation and recording payments already received against existing QuickBooks Online invoices.Accountison Sync does not process customer charges or transfer funds. Its Square connection requests read-only access.Authorized users remain responsible for providing accurate instructions, reviewing exceptions and accounting entries, and completing final bank reconciliation. The integration does not replace professional accounting judgment.Connected Accounts and SecurityYou are responsible for maintaining appropriate access permissions and protecting your sign-in credentials.Do not submit passwords, application secrets, or authorization tokens through chat or email. Enter credentials only through the designated secure setup interface.You must notify Accountison promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse.Third-Party ServicesAccountison Sync depends on third-party services, including Intuit QuickBooks Online, Square, ChatGPT, and hosting providers. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies.Changes to third-party services, subscriptions, permissions, or availability may affect the integration’s functionality.Accountison Sync is operated by Accountison LLC. It is not an Intuit or Square product.PrivacyInformation processed through Accountison Sync is handled as described in the Accountison Sync Privacy Policy.Information returned to ChatGPT is also subject to the applicable OpenAI terms, privacy policies, and account data settings.Review and CorrectionReview reconciliation results and accounting records before relying on them. Report suspected errors to info@accountison.com.Disconnecting the integration does not reverse entries previously recorded in a connected accounting system. Corrections must be reviewed and made through the appropriate accounting process.Availability and ChangesWe may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, including when necessary for maintenance, security, or changes to third-party services.We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free results.Disconnection and TerminationYou may stop using Accountison Sync and revoke its access through the connected provider’s account settings. You may also contact info@accountison.com for assistance or to request deletion of information held by the integration.We may suspend or terminate access for unauthorized use, security concerns, or violations of these Terms.Disconnection does not automatically delete records held by third-party services. Retention and deletion requests are addressed in the Privacy Policy.Disclaimer and LimitationsTo the extent permitted by applicable law, Accountison Sync is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or waives rights that cannot lawfully be waived.These Terms govern use of the integration and do not replace or modify a separate signed engagement agreement for Accountison’s professional services.Updates to These TermsWe may revise these Terms as the integration changes. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date.
